My coaching philosophy revolves around a holistic approach that prioritises not only your running performance but also your overall well-being and happiness. Drawing from my own experiences in endurance sports and ultra running, I understand firsthand the transformative power of running, both physically and mentally.
My journey began on the trails, where I conquered a variety of ultramarathons, including the Karkloof 100 miler, UTD 100 miler, Drakensburg Grand Traverse, Tankwa Desert Run, and the UTCT 100 miler. Even while balancing the demands of my role as a Sales and Procurement manager, I never lost sight of my passion for coaching and helping others achieve their running goals.
Combining my hands-on experience with professional training from the Sports Science Institute of South Africa, I’m dedicated to empowering runners of all levels with customised training plans tailored to their individual needs. Whether you’re just starting your running journey or aiming for a major marathon, my personalised approach ensures you reach your goals while staying injury-free and motivated.

I started my running journey in 2022 with Parkruns and wanting to lose some weight. 2023 being a little fitter I ventured into trail running and bumped up to 10 and 20km distances.
I then wanted to try myself out at a marathon so downloaded a 3 month training program off the internet but by week 5 I was finished; completely exhausted and not enjoying running at all. I knew there had to be a better way! That is when I decided to get on board with Jo.
